Possible side effects of ILUMYA®

As with all medications, ILUMYA® can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Most of the following side effects are mild to moderate and self-limiting. If any of these side effects become severe, talk to your healthcare professional.

Side effects that may occur include:

Very common (may affect more than 1 in 10 people)

Upper respiratory tract infection with symptoms such as sore throat and stuffy nose (nasopharyngitis)

Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people)

Injection site reactions (such as redness, pain, irritation, swelling, bruising or itching at the site of injection)

Feeling tired

Headache

Diarrhea

Pain in joints, arms or legs

Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people)

Upset stomach or stomach pain

Vomiting

Impaired healing

Muscle aches and pains

Feeling of bodily discomfort, chills

Skin infections/rashes

Pink eye

Ear infection

Oral infections

Swollen tongue or inflamed gums

Dizziness

Altered sense of taste or smell

Burning when you urinate or urinating more often than normal
