About plaque psoriasis and ILUMYA®

Red patches of skin covered with white or silvery scales

Itchy and painful skin that may crack or bleed

Scaly skin that often flakes

Wondering what's going on with your skin?

Moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis starts beneath the skin. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, which means the body's own immune system attacks healthy tissue by mistake. In people with plaque psoriasis, an overactive immune system attacks certain parts of the skin. This causes inflammation and rapid, excessive production of skin cells.

Plaque psoriasis can cause raised, thick, red and scaly patches (“psoriatic lesions”) that can appear anywhere on the body.

ILUMYA® contains an active substance called tildrakizumab – which works by stopping a protein in the body called IL-23, which causes inflammation.

Using ILUMYA® should improve your skin clearance and reduce your symptoms of psoriasis, such as itching, pain, stinging, burning and skin tightness.

By blocking IL-23, ILUMYA® may reduce inflammation
